Nestled in the bustling town of Hessle, East Yorkshire and overlooked by the impressive Humber Bridge, you will find Artisan Restaurant.

Situated on The Weir, this grade 2 listed, Georgian town house has been lovingly updated to create the perfect setting for our restaurant. We opened in December 2004 to critical acclaim. At present, Artisan is one of the highest guide rated restaurants in Yorkshire, and has been voted one of the top 40 UK restaurants outside of London.

Artisan is also listed in both the Michelin and Good Food Guides 2008. Other awards include the Journal Restaurant of the Year 2005/06 and runner up Yorkshire Restaurant of the Year 2007/08.

Richard works single handedly, producing lovingly prepared food. Our food is classical in style with a unique and original choice of two menus. Front of house is run by Richard's wife, Lindsey, who has been noted for her excellent service, creating a very personal and welcoming atmosphere. Taking your time and relaxing is our belief, as the table is yours all evening. Artisan can comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests.

Lunches are available for groups of 6 or more by request.
